Homeowners fill out our online form to request callbacks from qualified contractors in our network. We route your request directly to local contractors near you in our network. They call you back to schedule an appointment for a day and time that’s convenient for you. You receive estimates, compare costs and contractors, check references as you normally would and then hire the contractor that’s best for your needs.
You save time and money! No more scouring the web looking for contractors to call. With Competing Contractors™ you fill out one simple form and contractors will call you.
It all depends. Once you fill out our online form we will pass your request to 3-4 local quality contractors in our network who provide the services you’re looking for. Once you schedule appointments for them to give you estimates you’ll be a well prepared homeowner. Not only can you compare the financial cost each contractor provides you but you will also get a feel for them after meeting them. Plus, you should always ask for and check references if they did not already provide them when they provided you an estimate.
Our network of contractors is enormous! We have contractors in our network all across the United States including Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. If you need a qualified contractor you came to the right place.
From plumbers and roofers to remodelers, electricians, painters, new home builders and so much more. The Competing Contractors™ network spans all contractor types. We can even connect you with specialty service professionals like architects and appliance repair professionals.
A bond is a form of insurance. It’s not to be mistaken for liability insurance or workers compensation insurance. Contractors can purchase bonds from surety companies. A bond acts as an added assurance to the homeowner that the job the contractor was hired to do will be completed as originally agreed and contracted. If it’s not the homeowners can file a claim with the surety company that issued the bond as recourse. Visit our blog entry on contractor bonds for a more detailed explanation.
Competing Contractors™ was founded in 2009 by a young marketing manager in Bergen County, NJ. Learn more about our origins here.
